This smaller flowered Clematis blooms throughout the summer. It is carefree, disease resistant and very generous of bloom. Prune hard at the end of winter.

RHS Award of Garden Merit. Grown since the 16th century. Fully double violet-purple nodding flowers - 7cm (2.5in) wide lasting for several weeks. A vigorous grower, excellent for growing through shrubs.
